Title: E-agle Edge *Part one of chapter two *
Chapter 2, by Zarphoine
That really hurt. I have a feeling I’m gonna die half way through this mission. I get Pillamall from the ground and carry her upstairs onto a bed. This really, really isn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I think it’s only right to… I get my phone from my pocket and slowly start dialling the numbers. “Hello, Plissta speaking,” said a voice from the phone.
“Plia? Could you do me a big favour?” I asked.
“What is it?” asked Plia. There was a little silence.
“Tell my parents these may be my last minutes on Earth. Tell them not to worry if I don’t return, kay?” I asked. “Oh, okay, should I say the same about Rob?” She asked.
“Yeah, please. Bye…”
“Okay Zaphire, ready to go?” I asked Zaphire.
“Yeah, I guess, but where’s Pillamall?” He asked me.
“She’s in her room, she’s tired from our last battle. She’ll be fine soon,” I told him. He nodded. I walked up onto the balcony for this. I could hear the engine start, and I could feel the Airship Vibrate. Rob came up to the balcony too. The ship started to move. It came off the ground and rose into the air. It started moving forward. It kept on going, and when it got to about 90 km, Rob’s hat fell off! “My hat!” She whined. I just laughed, until she slapped me. Oh, that hurt more than anything did! Anything human, anyway.
When it was over and we were travelling over sea, I decided to go back down to the first level ‘cause it got so misty. Also, to see Zarphoine. I walked down, he was fine. “So, tell me about what happened the other day, the day how you locked yourself in your room and didn’t come out?” He said. “How did you know!” I asked. He smiled.
“I have my ways, anyway, what happened?” He asked again. I hate to say it. It’s my fault.
“It was my fault, about Lesst, we went to see the town elder and she got kidnapped… by Zatch,” I said. Zaphire didn’t have a clue who she was. “Lesst, Lesst,” he mumbled to himself. “Oh yeah, that chick who just started out at the university! Sorry mate, I didn’t know…” I simply nodded. It wasn’t fair. Why did he have to take her? It’s my fault, all of it. But I’ll get her back, at least I hope.
