Title: A Friend For Life
I once had a friend,
Jenna was her name.
I was outside playing,
Waiting,waiting,and waiting.
She never came out,
I walked about wondering
With nothing to do,
But think of...
I was now getting worried,
I hadn't seen her that day,
Was she grounded?
Unable to come out and play?
That I wondered all day.
So I finally said,
'I am going over there today'
I asked my parents,
They said 'ok'
I left the house,
Going to my friends house to play.
I knocked on the door
And poor, poor nicole was crying
I asked 'whats wrong'
She wouldn't say.
I saw Jenna's parents
They were crying too.
I asked 'what's wrong?' 'where's Jenna?'
They told me
I didn't quite understand,
What they said to me.
I was so confused
I thought 'what should I do?'
I don't understand,
I left and said good-bye, confused.
I got home really early
My parents wanted to know
Why I looked so confused
I told them the reason so.
They were upset I could see it in their eyes
They knew what it meant,
I didn't.
They told me in the simplest terms.
'Tiffany' they said
I said 'mama what does it mean?'
She went up to see God is what she said
So finally I found out what it meant,
She had died, finally I cried.
To this day I still don't know completly what a brain anurism is all I know is I lost my best friend from one.
On a hot sunny day.
She was my best friend at age eight I will never forget her.
