Title: The Secret Mystery *Chapter One**Part Two*
'Argh...' she mumbled softly. She was probably pulling on her swimsuit. 'Yeah, I guess so. Dunno why we do though, guess it's just tradition.' she said slowly. I unlocked my stall and slid into my water shoes while she locked our books up.
'Okie dokie, lets head out.' And we walked out to the pools.
The pools weren't to full, but they weren't completely empty. We put our water bags and toys under one of the many vacated canopies and ran to the 10 foot pool, forgetting our warm ups. Fumbling with my goggles while getting ready to jump, I didn't dive properly. I 1/2 flopped in and Alice [watching me] tripped over the rim of the pool. When we had both popped out of the water, we started cracking up.
'Well, that was a top-boost start!' Alice said. I nodded in agreement, still luaghing and we swam to the edge. I clambered out and sat as we looked around. I saw Carl walk in the gates with his hawaiian tee and black shorts. He was a tall, blonde haired, blue eyed prankster we'd known since the 2nd grade. I had a crush on him since the 4th grade, but I kept that between me, myself, and I. He was so crazy and daring. We sometimes called him CC for Crazy Carl, but usually it was just 'carl'. I backstroked across the pool a couple times with Alice until we were distubed by a HUUUUUGE splash. We sat up and waited for the being to come up. Carl splashed out and shook his head violently, splattering our faces.
'AHHHHHH!' we screamed fakely.
'Sup PKON?!' He yelled loud enough for everyone to hear. PKON was an 'association' we'd started as a joke. 'Phsycho Kids of Our Neighborhood' I was surprised he'd brough it up, we hadn't talked of it in quite awhile.
'I knew I'd find ya'lls here, so I figured I'd chill while I tell ya da buzz.' he said smoothly.
'I started climbing onto the ladder to get out. 'Yeah, so? What is it?' I asked, now searching for the diver rings in my Harry Potter swim bag.
