Title: Making the band Chapter2: The Auditions
Wednesday afternoon:4:15pm: My Garage.
Karl and me had set up my basement so that we could hold the band members auditions init we had borrowed my brothers drums for anyone to show us their stuff on but for the guitarists they have to bring their own.
All monday and tuesday i had been getting phone callls, Boby this and Jade maxwell that, so many people where interested i was totally stunned at the amount! and i was tired too because they phoned all hours i really should of put a time to ring! but for better or for worse i had done it now all i had to do was choose two more memebers and were on the move to stardom already.
'First up, Gary Clark on the drums' shouted Karl down the stairs, i looked up and this really tall guy with mousy grey hair came flouncing down the steps i could see he had bought his own drum sticks this must be a sure sign of a good drummer.
' ok you want to start when your ready ' i said
there was a pause as if he wasnt sure what to do,he then raised his arms and began to bash away at the drums it was hurrendous! he was awful!!
' stop...stop..STOP!!' i screamed
he looked at me as if to say was it good, i gave him a look of disgust and then showed him the door.
it was like this for the rest of the week noboddy had any real talent! wasnt there anybody out there who could play any sort of instrument whatsoever?? all i could do now was pray and stick cotton in my ears to drown out the noise..........
