Title: Tiki Island, Chapter 2
As I fell, I tried to grab the ridge of the bridge, but my arms were too short.
I collapsed into the water, trying to pull myself up. But I was too weak,
and made no attempt to even try screaming at the top of my lungs for help.
There was nothing I could do. How could Bradley do that to me? I wondered.
This is the worst thing he's done in my life!
Suddenly, I felt pain shot up through my legs, and I screamed in horror
as a big hammerhead shark bit my leg. I tryed swimming away, but I was
too slow. The shark opened its large mouth, revealing rows of jagged teeth,
and swallowed me whole, without chewing.
Then, I opened my eyes, not believing what had happened. I was downstairs,
in my bed. 'What a dream!' I exclaimed. I guess the dream was from Tiki Island,
where my friends Jacob, Kayla, Erin, Megan, and Kristin, and Brad went with
me. It had sharks in the sea that was all around Tiki Island. Heres how it went-
It was a normal sunny summer day. The sun was up, all hot and fresh.
My friends were playing softball with me outside.So far, my team was winning.
Suddenly, Kristin blurted out, 'Guys, we're going on vacation this summer- by ourselves!'
We all stared at her, now quite believing that this comment was true.
'And where are we going?' I asked, curious. I waited for an answer.
'Uh.... I haven't decided yet on where we're going,' Kristin replied. 'I'll have to check
my book of vacationing places.' 'Where'd you get it?' asked Jacob.
Jacob was a little chubby, with short brown hair and blue eyes.
Kristin had long brown hair with brown eyes. Everyone says she looks
like her mom, and she does. I waited for an answer, and heard only silence.
