Title: Eyes(chapter one)
Zoe Greenman sat down with me. It was first lesson and the start of a normal gloomy, boring day. Our teacher Mrs Boringa who states you pronounce it Bor-ing-a whilst showering you with saliva. I sat up as she came in. I looked again, there was a boy following her with dark eyes like coal an dusty brown hair. He was already in school uniform! Our uniform is a beige blouse for girls and a grey lacrosse style skirt, with a grey sweater with the school motto too. Like most of the girls mine was around my waist.Boys have the same sweater and red tie I missed out and grey trousers. I stared and stared and then saw Renne my best friend looking at me. She passed a note.
Do you fancy him?
I scowled and replied.
Eww! No way it's just he looks like I know him.
Mrs Boringa tutted at us so we stopped and then said.
'Seeing as you like to talk so much Miss Hermione Greys will you be Kay Werner's school guide?'
I tried to look cool and in between chewing bubblegum said.
'If Renne helps.'
Renne nodded slowly. I tossed my braided hair and put my gum in the bin.
At tucktime we were to show Kay around.
'Jee um...so you are who?'
'Hermione, Renne.'
'I am sure I know you but where from?'
'Same here. So where do you live?'
'Eleveton Crescent.'
Renne gave a loud whistle
'Your Mum must be as loaded as Hermione.'
'You live there too?'
'237.'
'235'
We grinned and I saw in his eyes he was hiding something. But what? No that is not rhetorical. By the end of the day Renne and me were friends with Kay. We now knew his Mum was a magazine editor and his dad did designs for cards. Renne and I said goodbye at the cross junction to her estate and mine. Me and Kay walked the rest.
'Kay, are you going to say what you're keeping from me? I know there is something.'
'Oh leave me alone.'
He shoved past so I fell in old Mrs Parker's shrubbery. I sighed.
