Title: My Feelings About Math

When I first entered my grade six classroom, my attitude towards math was a negative one. I felt I was unable to grasp many of the concepts.

Now that the year is almost over, I realize my first impression about what I was capable of doing, was incorrect.

My teacher encouraged me to set a few minor goals in the area of math and begin working on achieving those first.

I soon found out that if I put my mind to it, I could improve and succeed just as much as those around me.

The teacher also helped me to improve my attitude towards learning new things in math. He encouraged me to try my best and to remember that making mistakes was not the end of the world.

I can now think in math terms and solve different kinds of problems.I believe this will help me succeed in the future.

This showed me that if you give something a chance, you may end up enjoying it more than you thought.

We thank you Mr. R for the encouragement!
