summers are on. besides watching t.v.and listening to music children need to pass thier time in some other ,different ,creative way.i chose reading books.all the 4 harry potter books have been read by me and i enjoyed reading them so much that i developed a regular reading habit.among the really interesting books i have been reading lately,i find the diary of a young girl-anne frank the most versatile ,different and interesting one.i think that all must read this book.
this is the real diary of a young teenage girl who had written it at the time of world war 2 when she was in hiding for 3 years.
she was a young ,innocent,ordinery girl just like you and me until her life changed when all the jews were to be sent in camps from amsterdam.her family decided to go hiding until the situation eases.she describes her life in a beautiful way when she was as good as a free bird and then when she was just like a captured bid struggling for fresh air and frredom.she narrates it in such a good humourous way that a person cannot feel the troubles which she went through in this harsh,dangerous environment where one mistake is a matter of life and death.imagine when u are in hiding and air raids taking place ,guns and cannons firing,and fear of floods.she also tells us about her problems with her mother,sister and the other family she is staying with.atlast thier secret is revealed after two years and she dies at one of the camps due to epidemics.
now,in this world the fear of war is growing with growing terror.more and more people will fall victims to this cruelty and deaths.with this book we can imagine what a war causes and especialy to young minds and a girl and her family.
i hope every body realises this and after all an incredible book to read and know deeply the extraordinary teenage girl-anne
