Title: Forever ago
I am going back in time
When there were two pairs of tiny footprints in the sand
When all I had to do when I was scared was take your hand
There were always shadows of two small figures together
I always thought it would go on forever
The shadows turned larger,
But never moved apart
And still you are, like always
The dearest in my heart
Two little shadows were playing, holding hands
Sometimes it seemed as if they were in a magic land
Now the shadows are still
But close as branches from a tree
And now I am thinking
You wont always be there for me
Yes, now it's not a mystery that the shadows were you and I
Night will come for either one, just don't ever tell me bye
