Title: They're dead.
Harry had no memory of the day if so it was very little. It was Halloween night. Lily cradled her baby close to her heart. Just then there was a loud knock on the door. James went to answer it. she heard the door slam shut and James ran into the room and yelled,'Lily, it's Voldemort, take Harry adn run ,I'll try to hold him off.' Lily carried baby out of the room but she's barely reached the next room when she heard a laugh and someone fall to the floor. 'Ah, hello, Lily.'She truned around to see Voldemort.'No, stay away from me.'she screamed.She ran as fast as she could out of the room.Voldemort followed. She soon came to the end of the long hallway full of mirrors. she turned VOldemort had her cornered she was trapped, and without a wand.'Stay away from us.'she said.'Now Lily you needn't woory about dying so calm down.'Voldemort said silkily.Lily looked suspicious.'What's the catch?'she demanded.'Ah, Lily you see I'll spare on one condition....Hand over the boy.'She clutched Harry close to her chest and wailed,'NO!Not Harry, please have mercy on him he's onyl a bab-''I have killed infants before and I'm not afraid ot kill them again.'he snapped.'He's only one child ou can have----others.''NO!'seh wailed again.'Not Harry, please have mercy., have mercy, take me instead kill me instead!''You are stariung to annoy me Lily. Im' giving you one last chance step aside and hand me over the child.'he hissed.'NEVER! Please I beg of you I'll do anything, anything!!'Finally Voldemort's patience with Lily was lost completely.'I didn't mean to kill you as well but it is plain to see that you leave me no choice.'he said angrily.He brandised his wand and Lily gasped as he pointed it to her.'Avada Kedavra.'he whispered.A flash of green and a rushing sound rushed over to Lily Potter.A mirror shattered and Lily Potter crumpled, she was dead before she hit the floor.Harry was now shierking at the top of his lungs.Voldemort pointed his wand at Harry.He whispered out the curse.Behold, a miracle, the curse hit Voldemort and left him without a body.That was the day the Potters died.
