Title: Dreams
I have a secret wish.
And a wishful yearn.
I pray for lots of things,
Oh will I ever learn?
I never want to age.
And forever young I’ll be.
I want a handsome husband,
Who truly will love me.
I want to travel the world.
And see so many sights.
I want to banish nightmares,
And every other fright.
I want an end to war,
And other people’s pain.
I want to dry up tears.
So the sun can shine again.
You could say I’m naïve,
Immature, stupid or young.
But all I want to do.
Is right the wrong’s we’ve done.
