Dear Lord,
Please protect me.
Help be become strong.
I need you to forgive me,
For all that I’ve done wrong.
I’ve inflicted pain on others.
And caused a lot of grief.
I need you to forgive me,
And help me promote peace.
I know that you are listening.
I know that you can hear.
I need you to forgive me,
So no longer need I fear.
I know that when I’m lonely.
You are by my side.
I need you to forgive me,
And comfort when I cry.
I’m really trying hard.
To change my sinful ways.
I need you to forgive me,
And believe it’s not a phase.
I truly do repent,
Of all my sinful acts.
I need you to forgive me,
And I know Lord, you’ll do that.
