Title: Blindness

Why was I so blind!
I can't believe I couldn't see
Why didn't I open my eyes
And look in front of me?
Why was I so oblivious
To the world around
Infatuated in my own life
Not even hearing a sound
Why did I block out
The cries of pain
Of friends and family
Going insane
Why didn't I recognize
The scream of sorrow
And always say:
"I'll wait 'til tommorrow!"
Tommorrow has come
And I can see
The agony
That's been in front of me
It's overwhelming
What this can do
But I really am trying
To help YOU.
