Title: Meaning of life

Sometimes I look up at the stars
and see a light that's shinning
down on me,
but every time I close my eyes
an emptiness fills up all over me.

The stars are glowing like
the crystals on a Christmas day,
but inside my heart is cold
like night that's gray.

I glance at dirty snow
that's laying on the ground
and then I look away, but
straight ahead.
And as I try to see some hope in life
I see a star from way above
that's shinning down to strife

I quickly close my eyes again
and see myself on highest mountain
in the world
I carefully look down from that spot,
and as I let myself go falling off
that cliff,
my soul is rising up to reach the
lonely star, the given one by God.
