Title: The Discovery-Chapter 7
After a week, Megan had not replied. Red-hot angered pulsed through me. I was so angry at her kidnappers. My fingers itched to write something, but pressing the keys was a nightmare- writing just reminded me of Megan.
My dad brought home the newspaper that night. After reading the front page, he rubbed his eyes and shook his head. 'What's this world coming to?' he muttered.
Hmmmm. Something interesting? 'Can I borrow that, Dad?'
'Sure?'
I picked up the front page and nearly gave myself a heart attack reading the headline: Girl Discovered Missing After Stay At Friend's House.
Underneath was a picture of a teenage girl with blonde hair and a gentle, serious face. By the picture: Megan *******. They had just figured out that she was missing. And I, an Internet friend that she didn't personally know, had known for weeks.
