Title: Angels-A football story(chapter 2)
Jenn sat down ready to be put in her team, she was a little nervous as she epected either her teams shock or being looked down on. Being the only girl was not easy and the best in the club? Her pale skin seemed paler then before as he said.
'We have a match soon. So our team positions are Gordon, James you are our defense. Carl,Patrick and Max are midfield and Jenn and Joe our strikers. It is against the Diablos so good luck.'
Jenn whispered to patrick.
'Who are the Diablos?'
'Knocked us out every time and they wil kill us for having a girl.'
'Why does everyone hate me?'
'You're new. What did you expect?'
Jenn sighed.
Saturday was the big match. Jenn awoke quietly warmed up scored a few penalties and waited until ten when it was her chance to shine!
They waited and waited and then they werev on. Their red shiummering. Their cool cracking. Jenn sighed. Kick off!
Jenn got early possesion and was off when she was tackled.
'Baby.'
One hissed she stood up and carried on. Ignoring comments and scored then the Diablos struck on her next possesion. One puched on puporse. She fell on her ankle feeling rather funny. They were awarded a penalty which Joe took and scored 2-0! Jenn was taken off as her ankle was swelling. The Diablos weere in shock!
The game ended and Jenn grinned 2-0. She limped off the bench to leave when she heard a voice.
'You were good. I..we were wrong about you. You played well. Are you okay?'
'I think so. Just a twist. So does that me I am accepted?'
'It sure does!'
'Great!'
They laughed.
