Title: The Snake
My uncle Eric fought in the Vietnam War. He once told me a very funny story that he remembers.
They were marching along with a scout in front and the rest of them behind. Suddenly, Baam! Baam, Baam!
They heard the front scout shooting. He fired of a whole magazine and reloaded before he stopped.
Silently, one of the men inched up beside him. He said, 'What is it? Is it all clear; are we safe?'
The scout answered, 'There was a snake, a great big snake.' Motions with hands to show approximately one foot,
'This big, with four legs!'
Believe me, they were about ready to shoot the scout when they heard that!
