Title: Dreams!
The best thing of all is a dream,
It moves and works with hands unseen.
In it you can do whatever you like,
You can swim or ride backwards on a bike.
You see creatures of fantasy,
Mabey a pig with wings like a bee.
A white, shiny horse with a horn,
In your mind, great adventures are born.
Though your eyes are closed, your body is still,
In a land faraway you can do what you will.
In a land where dogs speak lanuage of our own,
Where gig, colourful kites in the sky are flown.
All of a sudden, the land turns grey,
Oh no you could have lost your way.
You run away from pirate crooks,
Trying to slash you with their silver hooks.
"Arrrrrrr!" You scream as one goes for your toes,
You tuck the blankets up to your nose.
You awake with th sun shining in your room,
You have left the pirates place of doom.
You're home again because it's day,
All of the land has slipped away.
But you know it will be back tonight,
When Mummy or Daddy turn off the light.
You didn't like the pirates slashing at your ear,
Tomorrow night you think you'll dream about Shakespere......
