I am what I am,
I make mistakes
I can't help being smart
I can't help being me
I bet you wish you knew
What had happened afterwards
But hey!
I am not going to let you know
How your tongue
Was like a dagger
Twisting and breaking the stiches
Of a healing wound
But that wound was you.
I was almost moving on.
But every time I come so far
You send back to square one
Well this time you can't stop me.
I feel sick when you walk past.
A mixture of remebering and shock
Of how I told your secrets
Of how we would chat.
I would have left you well alone
If I knew you would turn like that
If I had known my heartache
But of course I was also to blame.
I only felt left out
I tried to apoligise for going off
I was so hurt
I needed time
So when our parents discussed the matter
I hoped it was all over
But it hadn't even begun
For now
I feel like the odd sock
The salad amongst the beef.
I feel like the outcast.
Some people take your side
But lots take mine
They saw my agony
You ask our friend
She saw me cry
Ask my Mum
Infact ask anyone
But now I am treated like a disease
Like a criminal
When infact all I am
Is a girl who made 1 or 2 mistakes
And some people decided to try and make sure
My life was living bedlam.
No one understood.
The hurt inside
I just hope you never come here on this site
Where I feel great
You would take it all away
Though also you would see what you want
My hurt
And also how I feel and what you took away from me
What is rightfully mine
My confidence
