Title: The Perfect Grandma Part IIII

This continued for a good six days. Shalini would go to the park and the old lady would be waiting for her. They would do a different thing everyday. Sometimes granny took her to the club and taught her to play tennis. Slowly Shalini improved in the game. It was surprising to see that the old lady still had so much strength left in her. Sometimes granny taught her magic tricks, which later Shalini showed all her friends. They were very impressed and told Shalini to get the old lady to a party one of the girls were throwing. Both of them went to the party and were enjoying very much when granny was asked to dance. Shalini thought she would refuse but the old lady joined with enthusiasm. To every one’s surprise and total amazement. She danced like a young girl, laughing and twirling like wind, with gracefulness and merriment. The girls had lined up to learn dancing from her. Shalini had enjoyed the attention given to the lady. Her new friend had been a success among the girls!

On the seventh day, the lady told Shalini that she was going to visit her daughter who was in town. Maybe she won’t be seeing Shalini again in the park.
“What? You won’t come again? No1 you have to! We have had so much fun together. You can’t just go. Please….” Shalini had tears in her eyes while saying all this. The old lady gave her a hug and told her that she had had just as much fun with Shalini and didn’t want to leave but she had to. Maybe they would meet soon. She said this with a mysterious twinkle in her eyes, which Shalini did not notice. With tears flowing from her eyes she said goodbye and the lady left.
