Title: The Perfect Grandma Part V

As Shalini was returning home, she realized that her grandma would also be arriving that day. She was not looking forward to her arrival and peddled very, very slowly. Then she stopped in the way and went to her friend’s house. It was night when she reached her house.
“Mother would be angry but how does it matter, grandma would be home and that’s what I am dreading. On top of that granny wont be meeting me again.” She thought, thoroughly depressed.

She entered the house and was greeted by her mother.
“ Oh! You’re back shalu. Get ready to meet your grandma. She’s sitting in the drawing room. I haven’t settled her luggage as we don’t know if you want her in your room.” Her mother said
Shalini pursed her lips as she entered the drawing room and saw an old frail looking lady sitting on the sofa with her back to the door. Even with her back facing Shalini she looked strangely familiar. Shalini walked to the sofa and towards the lady’s face.
