Title: The Perfect Grandma Part VI

“GRANNY? You are my grandma? Oh I am so…” she was at a loss of words. “Happy?” granny asked with a smile. “ Yes happy. but how? Why didn’t you tell me?”
“ Because we wanted you to realize that all old people are not old fashioned, senile or embarrassing. That’s why.” Shalini realized that her mother had entered the room. She suddenly felt embarrassed. ‘I am sorry. So you planned it all? Both of you? Now I realize that I was wrong. Will you forgive me granny and ma?’
“ I have already forgiven you dear. Now can I shift my luggage to your room?” “Yes! Yes! Certainly you can. I’ll help you” she picked up the luggage.
Next day granny started the fun activities again and Shalini enjoyed them immensely. She felt even happier as now granny was to be her permanent friend!
