can you hear it
it is loud and clear
of course YOU can not
you have those ears that so many people have
you know the kind
the ones that refuse to hear what the bleeding the hungry and the lonely have to say
the ones that hear one command
one selfish greedy order
you call the shots
you make your way
make your way around the bleeding the hungry and the lonely
but one day you find yourself screaming
you are crying aloud
but in return for your "deafness"
you are crying to those unable to hear
unable to hear the bleeding the hungry and the lonely
those unable to hear you
