Title: The Machine

Why am I ashamed
This poor little girl
Has she opened pandoras box
Its not my fault
Please dont place the blame
Upon the sweetest soul
Unfair we scream
Societies stereotypes
Whats waiting around the bend
Uncertainty lurks
Between the cracks
Stay strong she says
Just let your true self shine
But how can I
When the truth they wont believe
My words become so twisted
When put through the machine
I dont understand the politics
The fat politicians
Stealing from the poor
What has it come to
What have they done
To me, to you
look what they've caused
The hurt, the pain
Because of all the rage
Because of the machine
