do your studies
do not get your lacy dress dirty always keep your hair nice and clean
and do not play with that strange boy down the street
always kiss your mommy good-night and do all the things that make little girls right
well mommy of mine listen to me
doing my studies causes me pain
and i beat that lacy dress with a muddy cane
my hair is stringy and smells very dirty
and my new best friend is that boy down the street
i do not kiss your cheek at night because it feels cold and tight
and who cares if i'm not all right
