Title: Unjust
As I lay here alone and in a daze, my head sunk in my pillow.
I hear the sirens and the horns of many peoples, pain crying through my window.
It gets me thinking what lying here will get me, yet I can't gain the strength to move.
I have heard the cries of those who have died, and now I am aware.
But when the spooks come to haunt I do not get nightmares.
True enough I may get scared, but nothing ever bothers me for long,
although I do wish they could all just get along.
I know this is not a perfect world, and how can we expect it to be when we are not ourselves. Life is a maze, and when you win you are gone and seem to be living in a criminal haze.
Petty sins there are no such, you make a mistake and no punishment is too unjust.
You deserve everything you get, so do not get too upset.
You can always expect to be the one blamed, but life's got awhile, there is no shame.
So let up your feet and stay for awhile, because nobody here will
Hatred
As hatred flows throughout my veins, I wonder why there is no pain.
As a fire lights within my skull, I wonder if the devil has captured my soul.
As the people around me make me mad, I feel as though I shouldn't be sad.
I stand alone in the devil's mansion, wondering where this torture flame grows.
I wish I could just disappear, away from here and never fight again. Extinguish my torture flames... Do I alone have the power to do so? Or does the devil truly own my mind and soul?
