Felix heard Isaac. 'No...' he whispered, not daring to say it louder.
Ivan leaned over to Isaac and said, 'No, we can't fight, no one can. Jenna can't take them alone, and Menardi is right there. She is too powerful.'
'True,' Isaac said. 'I think it is best if we just leave.'
Garet looked at Isaac, 'Can we leave?' he asked, 'what if they won't let us through?'
'There is a cave, we have to get through it!' Isaac said, turning toward the cave.
Ivan looked gravly at Isaac, 'We've been through a lot. We saved Kolima, at Vault we captured the theives. We're a hero most everywhere, but I don't think we can get past this.'
'You mean.....' Issac hesitated.
Ivan nodded his head and said, 'Yes'
Felix won't hurt us, Isaac thought, but he isn't here! what are we to do? Ivan stood, with the last Pysnergy he had, reading Isaac's mind. He sighed, knowing Isaac was right. Ivan didn't know much about Felix, who he was, where he came from, but he could see through him. Why was he letting Saturos and Menardi control him? Perhaps it is because they are so powerful. But there seemed to be more to it. What though? And then he knew, as he searched deep through Isaac's mind, he knew; Menardi and Saturos saved Felix. He owed them his life. That is why. Ivan sighed deeply.
The last time Felix let Saturos fight us, he will now too, Ivan thought. We haven't a prayer. Garet had his eyes closed, deep in thought, and Mia seemed to be lost in her thoughts, carried away. She didn't seem to be there. She was probably thinking about Imil. Prehaps.....
