Title: Rare Moon Flower

Next to my home in the Caribian
I sat on my candle-lit patio.
Listening to the warm, quiet ocean.
Sipping my sweet hot cocoa.
Then I felt a chill in the air.
I searched, feeling a little sour.
What was it that caused that feeling?
And then I saw a blooming Moon Flower.
No one could see it but a lucky few,
The flower so immortal, heavanly, pure,
As white as the moon, as shy as a child,
Yet proud as a woman in rabbit fur.
I stared at the flower in silence.
I was full of mystery and pride.
Then I shed tears of sorrow
As the rare flower whithered and died.
I watched as it whithered and died.
