Title: Everything Is Home

Clear Lake,in the moonlight
Ripples with the wind
Small leaves fall and float away
Branches break with my steps
Cool breezes blow the grass at my feet
And whips at my hair
Crickets chirp out their nightly ballads
And the reeds play their sad songs
Echoes of the day, fly through the air
Spiraling by me, in a rush to the past
The quiet of the night wraps around me
I can hear everyone except but myself
Where children once thew glass marbles
I lay down and stretch
The stars are vast and beautiful
I am not homeless, this is my home
The Universe has lots of room for me
It carries the sweet smell of memories
And I dont need anything more
Except to sleep.
