Title: Kitty Cat

Who's cat this is I think I know;
her house is down a block or so.
She will not see me stopping here;
to pet the cat on the ear.
My mother may think it really wierd
to stop with out the road clear.
I run across the road real fast.
I slam the door with a smash.
I slip.
I slide.
I fall.
I mash.
I look out the window;
I forgot the cat.
I drop my head and slip off my hat.
I look at the road;
YUCK! That's the cat?

A Storyteller Topic - Kids Are Poets Too
Poetry is a great way to express yourself, whether you're feeling down or on top of the world. There are many different types of poems and remember, they don't have to rhyme.
