Title: Lost

The warm lights
Shine through the dark
Telling of a world
Of happiness, of peace
I was once
Part of that world
Sitting on the window seat
Laughing at the beggars outside my window
But now
I am part of the dark
Lost in a world of hate
But
I do not
Lie on the ground
For the world
To mock me
Instead I stand
Resillent with rain
Against the wind
So one day
I can sit again on the window seat
But I will never laugh again
