Title: Alone in the Forest

The cottage lights
Shine through the dark
And I press my cheek
Against the door
I want to enter
The world of peace
A world where
Nothing
Can happen to me
But the door
Is cold, hard on my cheek
And I am pushed away
From the shining window
The wind whips
Around
My body
Shoving, pushing me
To the ground
And I let out
A long, hard scream
But the wind
Carries away
My dying note
My blood is icy cold
A blood that has never known
What the world can give
And I die
On the forest floor
Without a soul in the world
To mourn
For me
