Title: Friends Forever: Chapter One; The Introduction
I've been to four schools before. The first was the one near my house that I was
supposed to go to. I went to the next school because my first school got full, so
they redrew the lines as to who goes where. I stayed at that school for only one
day. Then some people from a different district called to say I was going there.
(My mom had been trying for quite some time to get me into that district.) I went
to the new one for two years. Then, just like before, my school got too full.
Because, I was transferred, I got moved again. The place I went to was called
LCE. I have stayed there for the last two years.
By the time I got to LCE, I had already had three necomer experiences. (The
first doesn't really count though, because everyone was new.) Anyway, I was
expecting to be shunned for a few days as I was used to, so it didn't hit me too
hard when people weren't exactly friendly. Unfortuneatly, I was ignored and
made fun off for a lot longer than I expected, maybe even a few months. At this
point I was feeling pretty awful.
Then a miracle happened; some kids approached me and invited me to play with
them at recess. I had a great time playing tag and talking along with the rest
them. After that, I became one of them and we were inseperable. Let me describe
the group to you.
Amanda, sort of the leader of us, is fun and wacky. She purposly dresses crazily
and makes funny jokes. She is also an actress, so she does hilarious imitations
of people. Stephanie is an excellant dancer and always keeps up with the latest
music. Although the rest of us aren't exactly popular, we're just accepted as
exsiting, Stephanie could fit in with anybody. Heather is really nice and never
says anything mean about people. At first I thought she was a little goody-goody
suck-up, but it turns out she actually is loads of fun and is willing to take risks.
Sally is thin and tall and makes really good funny faces. She and Heather also
are able to make many different voices. Emily is short and really cute. Even
though she complains about being the shortest in our grade, I can tell she actually
enjoys it. Emily is a really great horse-back rider.
