Title: The fun fair part 2
The fun fair had arrived. The people had already started to build the rides on Thursday. When people walked past they would get a smell of popcorn or toffee apples and candyfloss. The rides they were building looked fun they had dodgems, Ferris wheels, roller coasters, swinging chairs, ghost trains and Mexican hats. There were caravans and huts for the men and women to sleep in. You could start to hear music while they were testing the rides. It sounded fun.
The girls had sneaked out before the adults got home. They took the ticket for 6 people from behind the family photo on the mantelpiece. They got to the fair and they could smell all the food like hotdogs and popcorn, the music was loud and it was a lot of fun. The screams were as loud as the music while people were having fun. The girls had gone in to a group of 4 and a group of 2. They went to the first ride the 2 girls went to the Ferris wheel and the 4 girls went to the roller coaster. They were quite happy until there was a bang and every thing stopped and the electricity went off. There was dead silence. 2 minutes later everyone was screaming, running to get out. The generator had over loaded.
The girls were at the top of the rides. They were shouting and shouting absolutely terrified until there was a light shining on them. It was the firemen and police to save them. “ Its alright girls your safe now.” In a mad rush everyone was forced to leave. The police
escorted the girls home in tears to their worried parents.
As the crowds had left the manager tried to restart the generator. There was an enormous explosion. The generator had blown.
Had the manager got out on time? Only police would know once they had look through the rubble.
