Title: It Was A Sad Day

It seems like yesterday you was here sharing all your laughter and good times
Now it seems like the laughter has turned into thunder
They keep telling myself that everything will be fine
Sometimes I have to sit and wonder
I have so much anger built up inside
I know the storm doesn't rain always
You was the only person I could confide
You're gone when you left me that sad day

I know you're smiling at me from up above
I can't help but to wonder what it would be like if you was here
I know you're teaching the angels a different kind of love
In my heart you're always be near
The love and devotion you showed toward me was greater than ever
I guess you know that already
I know good thing don't last forever
I remember the first time we met

Even though I was shy at first you help me overcome that
I felt I could tell you anything
Ever since that day I knew you would always have my back
You was there thougth thick and thin
Through the rain and storms
Do you think about me
I guess this is a lesson I must learn from
As I look at the world you would be surprised by the things I see

I know you're gone to be with God
I want you to know as long as I'm here your memory will live on
So when I kneel down and givethanks to the Lord
I give thanks that you was always there and never left me alone
So Sandra, my friend wuntil we meet again
Thanks for sharing all your love
