Title: My very first day at hogwarts
On my first day at Hogwarts I woke up with butterflies in my stomach. My parents are muggles so I didn't know anything about Hogwarts. I didn't even know Hogwarts existed until I got the letter. When I first got on the train I didn't know where to sit. I didn't know anybody but everyone else seemed to know each other. Finally I went up to a girl who seemed a little lonely and introduced myself.
'Hi' she said ' My name is Amy. I'm new at Hogwarts and I didn't have anyone to sit with. are you new, too? When I nodded she indicated the seat next to her and said 'sit down'
We spent the rest of the ride sitting next to each other. When we got to Hogwarts we had to get sorted. Amy was before me she got put in Gryffindor. I put on the hat and almost right away it shouted Gryffindor! I was so happy!
That night when I went to bed I was in a good mood. I had made a new friend, I was in Gryffindor and I was going to learn magic!
