ThunderStorm
Rumble, it comes.
Rumble it comes.
Announcing its presence
Rumble, it comes.
Slowly it comes.
Making an entrance.
Rumble, it comes.
Powerful, it comes.
Letting its might entrance.
Rumbling it comes,
Rumbling it comes,
Knowing that there'll be no resistance.
The Storm
Rain and hail rip the air,
the lightning makes the sky tear,
how long will this battle last?
between storm, sail and mast.
The storm threatening to pull us into the dark.
Will we find our way without the stars to mark?
Inattentive
The teacher talks to an inattentive audience,
fiddling, talking amongst themselves,
The teacher, ignoring the noise and movement,
talks on,
waiting for the end bell,
tired of life.
Blankness (an ode to writing exams)
Complete blankness,
a train of thought derailed,
nothing comes,
the new train empty,
or perhaps filled with a useless cargo,
nothing comes,
nothing comes,
you are left blank.
Rain
Slowly it falls,
gently and carefully,
damaging little as it falls.
Rushing,
Crashing,
destroying all,
strong and mean.
The same thing,
but not combined in one,
the opposites,
but still the same.
