A girl looks back at the photos.
Of Summers spent swimming and laughing.
She knows recovering them will be hard.
She is now lost in a world of maturity.
A world of violence.
Not the sun filled place she had once known.
The friend she played for years with is gone now.
Vanished into the darkness.
And yet this girl tilts her head back and laughs.
Anyway.
