Why can't animals be free,
And not kept in captivity?
They're stuck in places like zoos,
Where it's like they're the latest news.
People stare at them all day,
And never seem to go away.
Lions want to catch their prey,
And not be hand-fed, day by day.
Seals want to swim forever,
It doesn't matter how bad the weather.
All animals should be free,
Just like you and just like me.
