Title: The Runaway Turkey
It was the night befor Thanksgiving
and all through the night
we were looking for a turkey
We looked all around
And what did we see?
A big fat turkey
running away from me.
He ran off in the distance
And hid behind a tree
but I couldn't find him
Because he ran so quikly.
We spotted the turkey
And I aimed with great care
At last I had him
Now our table wouldn't be bare.
We had a great feast
That Thanksgiving day
we ate ham instead
because that turkey got away!
