THE ADVENTURES OF MERRY AND PIPPIN
CHAPTER ONE
Pippin looked out from under the eleven cloak, him and his companion Merry where sleeping under. The night was silent, Pippin listened hard for enny sine of movement in the shadow’s of Mordor. All was quiet exeped for the breath of merry beside him and the creaking of his own bones. Then a sudden wave of cold and misery swept over him. The light of the moon was blocked as a ginormous eagle typ shape flu over them, casting a terrible shadow over there camp. Pippin thought about waking Merry up. He looked at Merry's troubled face, he could obviously feel the pressans of the eagle shaped shadow in his sleep. As the feel of cold and misery left Pippin, Merry's face became calm again. There was no point waking Merry' now that the moment had passed. He would tell him in the morning. Pippin settled himself down again to watch.
When the sun rose the next day Merry woke up to find Pippin cooking breakfast on a low fire. Merry sat down next to Pippin and was about to tell him about the dream he had had last night, when Pippin told him that something strange had happened last night.
'What was that then?” asked Merry
'Well last night a sort of shadow thing flu over us and, I don't know, it cared a feeling of unhappiness.'
'Winged black rider's.' Merry muttered under his breath
'What?' asked Pippin
'Gandalf told me about them. Ring wraiths on wings. There black rider's but on giant eagles not horse's. I felt then last night to.' Merry explained.
'Right, what was it you where going to tell me' Pippin asked.
'It was nothing.' Merry said, but it was something. The dream that Merry had had concerned two hobbit's, Frodo Took and Samwise Gamgie. These two hobbits were the reason why Merry and Pippin where camping out in the middle if Mordor.
It all started after the breaking of the fellowship. Frodo and Sam (Samwise) set out to the lands of Mordor to destroy the one ruling ring of power. When Gandolf the wizard heard of this, he had sent Merry and Pippin to look for them. Merry had dreamed that Frodo and Sam had picked up Gollum (a slimy demented creature that used to be on of the many owners of the ring) on there travels and Gollum had led then in to a trap.
It was probably nothing, Merry told himself. After the two companions had set of after breakfast that day, but deep down he new it wasn’t. The dream had seemed so real.
