Title: I Remember

As the clouds drifted by on that warm spring day,
I remember feeling happy and gay.
For the time had come that the flowers would bloom,
And terminate winter's lingering gloom.
I remember that the birds in the trees were singing with delight,
Because winter's frightful storms were out of sight.
I remember that a soft wind was rustling the newborn leaves,
Which was delightful compared to Jack Frost's heaves.
I remember the baby rabbits springing and leaping,
And the little ewe's softly bleating.
If only I could relay to you,
Every aspect of this miraculous view,
But very few words could justly explain,
This wonderful site that I was able to attain.
