Title: Missing you Frank
Frank,
7th grade, 1996, the year we met,
I will never forget it.
That year I faced many fears.
I got diagnosed with cancer,
and never found out the real answer.
Why did this have to happen to me I asked?
When I asked you, you said it would go by so fast.
Well it did,
You were right all along,
and you proved me wrong.
June, who knew it would happen that soon.
You had a tumor in your lung,
There was a rumor going around that you had three months to live. I asked myself why did this have to happen to him.
He was such a good boy,
His heart shouldn't be played with like a toy.
When I asked you if everything would be ok,
You knew exactly what to say.
You made me feel alot better,
But still I felt like I was in cold weather.
November 27th, you went up to heaven.
I cried and cried until there was nothing left to cry.
I know I must go on,
But still I know it is gonna take so long.
Without you in my life,
It has felt like I've been stabbed with a knife.
There are several questions that are unanswered in my head.
Why did this have to happen to you?
Who would have only knew.
I sit and think was it meant to be,
But I do only wish it could have been me.
I asked the Lord, why couldn't it have been me,
Why did it have to be he.
I only wish I could see you,
I have a few things I have to say.
Please Lord show me the way.
Frank I will always love you.
