I knew your Dad he used to be very good at…. Well, everything all the girls wanted to be his partner but as soon as he got put under that curse people shuddered at the site of him and he has a brain the size of a pea. I want your Dad to be freed from the curse but I know he won’t get out of that chair and I think you are probably a smart boy and I have watched you before you’re very good at sport. You’re just the person we need. Sam blushed. The man sounded a bit croaked Sam pretended he wouldn’t like to go on the adventure. Look he said you think I’m bonkers I can tell why don’t you just go home and take of that suit. Tom thought for a long time then said fine if you don’t won’t to join I’ll find someone else who wants to Tom walked out the door as if what just happened didn’t really matter he didn’t seam to care. Sam sat on his bed for two fifths of a second then ran out the door, Tom had just about got into the car when Sam stopped him. OK Sam said catching his breath Tom smiled go and tell you’re Dad that your going to sleep over for at a friends house. Sam looked at Tom are you kidding? He doesn’t care what I do. Tom opened his mouth but Sam interrupted it may not sound like my Dad but if he’s under that spell he wouldn’t care about his family and it’s true. Tom looked into Sam’s eyes and thought he looked very grave and unhappy but … He started trust me Sam said in a whisper. Sam got in the car and they drove of. For most of the time there was silence in the car once they got to the traffic lights Sam asked Tom something Tom, when are we starting? Sam clenched his teeth he had become scared of this adventure and was considering going home and waiting until the stone was cracked. Tom looked at Sam’s serious face “you’re not getting nervous are you?” “Just a bit” Sam said nervously. “We will start as soon as you think you’re ready ‘till then you can stay at my place”. Sam became a bit more relaxed and became comfortable when the car drove into a small garage. Sam looked around it may be a small place but compared to his place it was as if imaginary. Sam walked into the rather large den Tom had in the backyard. Tom opened the door of the den and introduced to the people in it.
