Title: Quick 'n' Easy (chapter 3)
'Hello?'
My mobile phone rang and I picked it up. It was the receptionist.
'The infomation on children missing is over ten alone where you are, they often end up beggars.'
'Thanks. Bye.'
ben stred as I grabbed his arm and said.
'Change we are seeing Kelsey again.'
Pulling a face he webt into his room and I into mine.
I came out twenty minutes later in a plain lemon gypsy top, green shorts and grass stained sandals. My hair was in a plait sticking out a leamony baseball saying I am Perfection! My Mum gave it to me a couple of years ago.
Ben was in ripped beige shorts and a grubby grey top with a brown jacket,
'We going now?'
'Uh huh!'
I gently opened the door and walked briskly to the market square again explaining develpoments.
'Most missing kids end up as beggars so we need to see this 'baby' asap Ben. I'm giving Kelsey a badge which has a tracking device showing the hideout so we can sneak in!'
'Crafty! Are you sure you aren't 007?'
'Call me James, Scarlet James. '
I joked as I entered the market. It stuck the stench of roting food and putrid vile spices.
'There she is.'
Ben pointed. I confidently walked over and bent down.
'Kelsey! Would you like to come with Ben and myself to the hotel, no offense girl but it stinks! '
She nodded and followed us
'So how are you?'
'Fine thanks. People said I was silly going off with you but you see I said I was helping you and they warmed up to the idea. Well I said you saving the world so I ws allowed to go again though really I'm helping you find a lost girl only people get suspicious and I don't want you to have any trouble after being so kind.'
Rather bemused Ben said.
'How is the new girl?'
'Boring. She looks like that girl in your photo though, she is full of airs and graces!'
My heart raced.
'K..Kelsey I got you a present.'
I passed her the badge and stared as she pinned it on. Phase one was completed.
