Title: Episode 57: The flower power of Erika!
The gym was like a big indoor garden! It was humid, very tropical. Trees and flowers spread across the grass, and we stuck to a little path.
On the way we passed a few trainers. Vulpix sizzled them with Ember. Now it was time for Erika.
I walked up to her. She said, 'Aren't the flowers lovely! They give off such an aromatic smell! Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realise you wanted to challenge me! Very well, but I shall not lose!'
Erika only had one Pokemon, for the others were resting. It was called Bellossom. But it was grass, and using my Vulpix would make the match easy!
The match begun. It was 1 on 1. Vulpix had a good start with it's ember, but Bellossom was better than I thought. Twice it put Vulpix to sleep, so I couldn't attack. But it was weak by then, so 1 more ember would make it faint. Finally I made the victory.
'You deserve the rainbow badge!' she said, and handed me my 4th badge! She also gave me a Sunstone and said. 'Have you got an Oddish?' I nodded. 'Well, when it is Gloom, the Sunstone will make it evolve to Bellossom.'
'Thanks!' I said, and walked out the gym with a smile on my face!
