Title: A poem with a meaning 2

( Yet again, this isn't true)

out in the yard in a shed,
Lies a cat with a box for a bed.
He calls at night for his mum and dad,
but when they don't come he gets really sad.
For he was once one of five,
But the owners couldn't keep them,
so they didn't survive.
All but one who now lives in shame,
Never in his life to see daylight again.
Why can't people love him like i do to mine,
Maybe they will in a generation of time.

Look after your animals and don't let them get into a state like this one did. if your wondering what happened in the poem to it, It died, all because of one person who couldn't be bothered to feed it and give it a home!
