Title: The War Of Sound

Listening, Listening for the Bomb.
The bomb of death.
That waits to pounce on prisoners of war lost in a sequence of fighting and combat.
People die of sound overload and shock from the terrible war.
People screaming, people shouting.
Shouting for the war to end.
People cry. People weep.
Weep for the days lost.
Suddenly a shout comes from the people, "Look up! Look Up!",
There is a Bomb coming towards us with eagerness for destruction.
They run from the bomb the dust leaps up and surrounds us all.
Survivors sit feeble with muffled voices check them selves for broken bones.
The war is over now we won they lost but the memory of the sound just before the bomb hit.
The sound of pure silence.
