Title: Homemade Play

Growing up as a child my two brothers and myself would invite all the neighborhood children to play baseball at our house. We would create teams then guess a number or toss a coin to see who would bat first. It was so much fun! Each Sunday afternoon they would come over to play. This type of event taught us how to build relationships. We learned to respect, and love one another. Many times we made our bases with wooden blocks or cardboard paper, the homerun boundaries would be trees or buckets, foul lines were made of strings or sticks lined along the baselines. Oh! those days were so much fun! To reflect upon them gives me great joy! Thanks for reading my story.
