The next morning she phoned Sylvia. 'I'm going on a quest,' she said nervously, 'and...well....I thought you could come with me.'
'What kind of a quest?' Sylvia asked.
'Last night when you told me about dragons, I became so interested that I researched them on the computer for hours. I learned that somewhere on this planet they still exist. Will you come with me?'
'No,' replied Sylvia.
'Please!'
'N-O!'
'Why not?'
'Because dragons are slimy, scaly, stinky and they can burn you to death with their breath.'
'PLEASE! PRETTY PLEASE with a cherry on top.'
'Well.....okay. When?'
'After school tomorrow.'
'I have piano.'
'Wednesday.'
'Soccer.'
'Friday.'
'Dance.'
'Well, how about Saturday at 12:00 noon?'
'Sounds fine to me,'aid Sylvia. That night she thought much about what was in store for them and that she had actually agreed to go. BUT SHE STILL HATED DRAGONS.
